PASTUREFED CATTLE ASSURANCE SYSTEM ("PCAS")

Clear Springs is fully accredited under the Australian Pasturefed Cattle Assurance System (PCAS), which is an assurance programme with the very highest standards governing grassfed production methods, on-farm practices, traceability, and pre-processing handling practices.

We submit ourselves to independent on-site audits each year to maintain this official PCAS-certified status.

100% Grassfed, whole-of-life

  • Providing cattle with continuous access to graze open pasture their entire life

  • Never introducing grain, cereal crop or supplement in the feed

  • Never confining cattle for the purpose of intensive feeding or production

  • Ensuring lifetime traceability, from calving to processing

Hormone Growth Promotant (HGP) - Free

  • Never introducing or administering hormone growth promotant through feed or implant

  • Allowing cattle to develop and grow naturally, whole-of-life

Antibiotic-free, whole-of-life

  • Never administering antibiotics, either through injestion or injection, whole-of-life

THE NON GMO PROJECT

The mission of The Non-GMO Project is to preserve and build sources of non-GMO products, educate consumers, and provide verified non-GMO choices.

Its shared belief is that everyone deserves an informed choice about whether or not to consume genetically modified organisms.

The Non-GMO Project, a non-profit organization, offers North America’s only third party verification and labeling for non-GMO (genetically modified organism) food and products.

The organization has nearly 35,000 Non-GMO Project Verified products from more than 1,900 brands, representing well over $13.5 Billion in annual sales.

Non-GMO Project Verified is currently one of the fastest growing labels in the natural food sector, and increasingly is an attribute sought by conventional brands as well.

NON-GMO CERT ID Certification

A subsidiary of HACCP International, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)-ID Australia oversees exclusively the world renowned Cert ID - Non GMO Certification programme in Australia.

Acknowledged as the leading standard for non-GMO certification, GMO-ID is trusted worldwide and offers independent, third-party certification services around production and handling systems, quality systems and compliance under the Non-GMO Certification Standards.

At Clear Springs, we submit ourselves annually to the independent and rigorous Cert ID Non GMO audit processes, covering the end-to-end production flow in its entirety, from paddock to finished product.

We are proud to demonstrate our commitment to the Non GMO status and live up to our philosophy around all natural goodness.

MEAT STANDARDS AUSTRALIA (MSA)

Clear Springs is a registered member of Meat Standards Australia (MSA), a red meat eating quality programme that provides independent grading and assessment on meat quality, with each MSA grade score comprising the level of tenderness, juiciness, flavour and overall palatability.

MSA is approved as a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Process Verified Program (PVP).

This means the USDA has endorsed, through auditing, Australia’s ability to provide consistent and predicted beef eating quality with the MSA grading program.

LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION ASSURANCE PROGRAMME (LPA)

Clear Springs is an official member of the Australian Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) Programme, through which our on-farm practices, traceability, animal treatment, livestock and feed management standards are recorded and open to independent industry audits.
