BENEFITS OF GRASSFED BEEF
 

Clear Springs cattle are raised and grown out exclusively on pasture.  We breed our cattle to meet consumer demand for natural, wholesome food.

 

Our 100% grassfed Black Angus are never finished on grain, yield leaner meat (but retain intra-muscular marbling in accordance with the MSA gradings assessed during carcase sampling) with the following health benefits.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS?

  •  Naturally low in fat, calories and cholesterol

  • Higher level of Omega-3 fatty acids, for cardiovascular and brain health

  • Richer in conjugated linoleic acide (CLA), a beneficial fatty acid that is believed to reduce heart disease and cancer risks

  • More beta-carontene and lutein, for defense against disease (concentrations of beta-carotene are 7 times higher in grassfed than grainfed beef)

  • More antioxidant vitamins, such as Vitamin E, for defense against cancer, heart health and vision

  • More Vitamin B, including thiamin, riboflavin and Vitamin B12.
